As we prepare to enter Advent, I’m reminded once again that joy doesn’t simply appear in our lives—it arrives when we slow down and make space for it. Advent is one of the Church’s great invitations to do exactly that. Every year it whispers to us: Slow down. Pay attention. Something beautiful is trying to happen.
Here are a few ways we can prepare our hearts together this week:
1. An Invitation from Matthew!
2. It’s Time to TAKE BACK Our Lives
3. Life Moves Fast – You don’t Have To!
4. See Yourself in the Story: This Week’s GOSPEL Reflection!
5. Don’t Put Your Dreams on HOLD for Another Year!
6. T-Shirt of the Week: We Have Only TODAY
7. Give yourself Permission to Slow Down this Advent Season
Gratitude is deeply rooted in humility. The grateful recognize that all is gift—our talents, experiences, relationships, opportunities, and the world around us. All is gift. – Slowing Down to the Speed of Joy
Have a great week!
